Vanuatu is a beautiful South Pacific Island, with friendly people, great food, turquoise waters and fantastic diving. I would suggest staying at least 5 nights so that you can truly relax and get to know and explore this island. Some popular places to stay include Le Meridien, Le Lagon, Iririki and Eratap. These properties are located on the main island of Efate. Two other popular island destinations are Tanna Island, famous for its volcano and Espiritu Santo, famous for its diving.
From personal experience I can highly recommend Daydream Island. It is such a cute, lovely resort located in the beautiful Whitsundays. It is also very easy to get to. There are two airports you can fly into, the Great Barrier Reef airport on Hamilton Island or the Whitsunday Coast airport on the mainland at Proserpine. Flying into Hamilton Island is more convenient as you can then get a boat transfer to Daydream Island which takes approximately 30 minutes. If you fly into Proserpine, you have to get a coach connection from the airport to Abel Point Marina at Airlie Beach which takes 30 minutes, then connect with a ferry transfer to Daydream Island, allowing another 30 minutes.
I think it is perfect for families! Kids absolutely love all the activiites and they never get bored. There is a daily activities program and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday they feature the latest released movies in a unique open air cinema. For good value food and a great atmosphere I would suggest the Fish Bowl Tavern. Serves food such as steak sandwiches, burgers and chips and nachos. A day trip to the Outer Barrier Reef is also something you should budget for. You will be amazed by its beauty!
I know many friends and family who have stayed at Hayman Island and have had
a wonderful holiday. It is especially popular for honeymooners because of its elegance, luxury accommodation, excellent service and beautiful location. Keep an eye out for the latest Hayman Island Deals on offer where you can enjoy huge savings. Hayman Island often release specials where if you stay 4 nights, you pay for only 3 nights. Other packages include the Romantic Escape which includes breakfast daily, dinner, french champagne and chocolates in the room on arrival and a 45 minute massage in the Day Spa.
There are many dining options at Hayman Island including restaurants, bars, l
ounge and room service. Facilities and activities include the luxury Spa Chakra, Kids Club, tennis, 9 hole putting green, snorkel safaris, scuba diving, lunch drop offs at private beaches and plenty more to keep you occupied.
From Hayman Island you can easily explore the Great Barrier Reef. Book a day trip to the outer Great Barrier and enjoy it’s crystal clear waters and spectacular underwater marine world. The easiest way to get to Hayman Island is to fly into Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) where you can connect with a launch, seaplane or helicopter to take you to Hayman Island.
Beachcomber Island Resort Fiji is a great island for young people looking for a fun & sociable island holiday. During the day spend your time relaxing by the pool, or explore the marine life with some snorkelling or scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, wind surfing and much more. Daydream Island Resort and Spa is located in the beautiful Whitsundays and is the perfect island getaway for both families and couples. The resort has a lovely relaxed island feel to it and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Daydream Island offers a range of eating options to suit all budgets and tastes. I highly recommend the Fish Bowl Tavern which has great food and a really fun atmosphere. There are 3 large outdoor lagoon style swimming pools, kids club, mini golf, pool bars, Day Spa and a gorgeous wedding chapel.
Access to Daydream Island can be by air, road or rail. There are 2 two domestic airports in The Whitsundays, one on Hamilton Island and one on the mainland at Proserpine. From the airports, you can then be transferred across to Daydream Island by boat or helicopter.
There are many beautiful Fiji Resorts to choose from when planning your holiday to Fiji. On the main
island of Viti Levu I would recommend staying in the Coral Coast region which runs along the southern shores of the island. The Coral Coastis popular with both families and couples with accommodation, facilities and activities to suit both. Two of the most popular resorts in this region are the Shangri-La Fijian Resort & Outrigger, both featuring fantastic swimming pools; day spa’s and kids clubs.
Denarau, a fast growing and popular region, offers a variety of premier resorts and activities including a championship golf course. It is also home to the Denarau Marina, where boat transfers depart to the Fijian Islands as well as half day and full day cruises around the islands.
Some of the most beautiful resorts in Fiji are in the Mamanuca Islands. For family friendly accommodation choose Malolo and Treasure Island. For couples and honeymooners, choose Tokoriki or Matamanoa Island Resort. For complete luxury try one of the over-water bungalows at Likuluku Lagoon Resort.
