Guests can choose from Chinese to Indian, or relax by the pool and enjoy your meal al fresco. For adults who want to relax and get away from it all, this one one of the best Bali hotels to do it in! Unwind in the Spa Villa where you can enjoy one of the spa packages on offer or a traditional massage. Relax at the lazy pool, or head to Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub for a refreshing drink. For a great holiday, you can’t go past Bali Dynasty, as it has great facilities and is also located close to the shopping mall and the nightlife of Kuta.

I have travelled to Bali twice so will give you some insight into my Bali Holidays.  On my first holiday to Bali I stayed at the Legian Beach Hotel and would highly recommend this resort.  The rooms are lovely and have a really traditional Balinese feel about them.  The resort features a lovely swimming pool and is situated right on the beach, where you can get cheap beach massages, your hair braided and buy cheap jewellery.   The location of Legian is perfect as it is slightly quieter than Kuta, but still within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars.  

On my second holiday to Bali I stayed at the Ramada Bintang in Tuban.  Tuban is located south of Kuta but still within walking distance of the shopping mall, restaurants of this region.  Tuban is a much quieter area and I found it really nice to be able to escape the hustle and bustle of Kuta and retreat to my resort.  The Ramada Bintang is a large resort with a nice swimming pool, swim up pool bar and restaurants.  They also have theme night dinners which are a lot of fun.   The rooms are comfortable and set amongst lush tropical gardens. 

I would recommend on your holiday to Bali a visit to the markets at Ubud and the monkey farm, a white water rafting tour is good fun and Tanah Lot is not to be missed.  This is absolutely spectacular.  The resorts have tour desks where you will be able to book any day trips you choose to do.  Eating out in Bali is very cheap.  If you choose the right places, you can have a gourmet meal and drinks for not much more than AUD$10.  One restaurant in Kuta that you must try is Poppies.  The food is divine and offers a nice peaceful setting.

I stayed at the Reef View Hotel Hamilton Island on my honeymoon and I cannot recommend it highly enough.  We chose a Coral Sea View room and were not disappointed as the views were spectacular.  It was lovely watching the sunset every evening from our spacious balcony.

The rooms were very spacious with all the facilities needed to ensure our stay was comfortable.  Even though we stayed there for our honeymoon I would definitely recommend this hotel for families also because of the space.  It is also perfectly positioned close to the main pools and restaurants.  We hired a buggy one day to explore the island, however most days we just walked everywhere we needed to go.  Our favourite place to spend the afternoons was at the Yacht Club Tavern. It is a nice casual atmosphere and the food and drinks are reasonably priced.  The Mantra Ray Café also does fantastic pizzas.  Both the Yacht Club Tavern and The Mantra Ray Café are located on the Marina side of the island.

During your stay on Hamilton Island I would recommend doing a Great Barrier Reef day trip including a visit to Whitehaven Beach.  Whitehaven Beach is spectacular and cannot be missed.  There are tour desks on Hamilton Island that can help you book any day tours and activities you would like to try.  If you are looking for good value and comfortable Hamilton Island accommodation then you will enjoy The Reef View Hotel.

There are many beautiful Fiji Resorts to choose from when planning your holiday to Fiji.  On the main island of Viti Levu I would recommend staying in the Coral Coast region which runs along the southern shores of the island.  The Coral Coastis popular with both families and couples with accommodation, facilities and activities to suit both.  Two of the most popular resorts in this region are the Shangri-La Fijian Resort & Outrigger, both featuring fantastic swimming pools; day spa’s and kids clubs.

Radisson Fiji is quite a new property that has been built on the beachfront on Denarau Island, and is only a 20 minute drive from Nadi International Airport. Opened in July 2007, this luxury resort offers guests 5 star facilities, all nestled around lagoon swimming pools and tropical gardens. Kids will have a fantastic time here, as there is the Pirates Kids Club and a White Water Tunnel Slide. There is also complimentary use of the non-motorised water activities including the use of catamarans and canoes. This Fiji Resort is also only a 20 minute drive to Nadi town. This is a popular shopping destination for tourists and also a great place to enjoy some local cultural experiences. There are plenty of souvenir and duty free shops on Main Street, or if you head to the south end, you will find clothing shops and Indian fabrics.

Radisson Fiji

As Radisson Fiji is on the main island, you are 5 minutes from Denarau Marina. Here you can access day trips and activities to the outer islands and other Fiji resorts. Spend the day diving the reefs, or enjoying the facilities of another island resort. There are also day trips to the waterfalls on the mainland and tours that allow you an inside experience of villager island life. If you would prefer to just relax and utilise the facilities of the resort, you can enjoy the Harmony Spa Retreat. Here, you walk along waterfall lined boardwalks to the day spa. They have relaxing massages, beauty therapies and have normal services that you would expect, including facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures.
